What is your smoking policy?

We do not allow smoking of any type at SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch. Guests will be asked to initial a non-smoking policy as part of the check-in procedure. Our non-smoking policy stems from insurance regulations, fire danger and mutual respect for others staying at the Ranch who do not smoke. Possession of marijuana (or medical marijuana) is illegal in the state of Wyoming. Possession of 3 ounces or less is a misdemeanor and possession of more than 3 ounces is a felony, punishable by 5 years incarceration and a maximum fine of $10,000. In the event of a violation of this policy, the offending party will escorted off the premises without refund for any remaining portion of your stay. SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch staff is solely responsible for the determination of an infraction of this policy. This policy applies to both cabin and RV guests. We understand there may be strong feelings (either way) on this subject, but would ask that you please respect state laws and Ranch policy.

Can I change my dates of stay or cancel my visit?

Our cancellation and/or change policy is as follows...

For all-inclusive stays: Reservations are secured with a 50% deposit. All balances due are no less than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date (large group or holiday reservations have a separate policy - please call for details) Payment can be made by using our website in U.S. dollars or by VISA, Mastercard and American Express. For more information, please call our Ranch at (307) 867-2090. We welcome group stays including: family vacations, family reunions, corporate retreats – Call for special Ranch group rates. We do not host weddings or engagement parties. For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, you must request a change or cancel at least 30 full days before the reservation's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email). If you request a change or cancel less than 30 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded. If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded. Rates quoted for all-inclusive stays include: Room(s), three home-cooked meals per full day, snacks, coffee and drinks (alcoholic beverages are available at an additional cost and are not included in the base rate) plus many other ranch activities. Rates quoted do not include taxes and fees of 12.78%. Gratuities are at your discretion if you feel our staff exceeded your expectations.

For non all-inclusive stays: RV spot and cabin reservations as well as class/tour and horseback ride fees are secured with a 50% deposit. You must request a change or cancel at least 30 full days before the reservation's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email) to qualify for a refund. If you request a change or cancel less than 30 days in advance, your deposit(s) are forfeited. If you arrive and decide not to participate in an event, or leave early, the fees are forfeited. Meal reservations, regardless of when they are made or when you choose to cancel are secured with a 50% non-refundable "meal reservation deposit" - this allows us to plan for your arrival (we are not a restaurant, and will be making a meal for just you and our guests).

Do you sell and/or allow alcohol on the Ranch?

Alcohol (beer and malt based beverages only) are available for purchase as an additional item from our Ranch guest lodge. Guests are permitted to purchase other types of alcohol (wines and distilled spirits) with them for their stay. We are a family friendly Ranch and will not tolerate excessive use of alcohol or any other substance. A working cattle Ranch can be dangerous enough without adding substances to your body. If found to be in danger to yourself or others, you will simply be asked to leave and not issued a refund for any remaining portion of your stay. SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch staff is solely responsible for the determination of an infraction of this policy.

Do you allow pets on your Ranch?

Pets are not permitted on the Ranch in Cabins. RV'ers may bring pets as long as they stay in the RV and when outside are always on a leash. No free-ranging of domestic animals are allowed at anytime while on the Ranch premises. You must clean up after your pet. Violations of this policy will be asked to vacate without refund.
